Grind by John Keene and Nicholas Muellner appropriates text and imagery from queer hookup apps, with a cover that nods to the means used to obfuscate the identities of subjects in the found photographs throughout the book. Question Like a Face by Christine Hume and Jeff Clark looks at gender violence and complicity within the intimate and immediate interiors of a small city in Michigan.
